Do you know where you are headed with your life? Or do you just get up in the morning and head to the job with no more thought than to wish it was Saturday and you didn’t have to go in? What is the end goal of that 8-5 job? Or of any of the things you do? Do you have a goal in mind that is giving direction to your life?

If you don’t someone else is going to direct your life for you. It could be your boss, your spouse or someone else. Are you following a path laid out by your parents?

This really needs some thought. Most people seem to follow a line of finish school, get a job that pays the bills, wait for retirement and then…. There are others who don’t even follow that path and just let the winds blow them about. They will wind up wherever the winds of chance strand them.

I’m thinking we each need to spend some time every day just pondering this thought…where are we heading? Once you figure it out, then you need a plan and to take action. But remember to keep your eye on the place you are heading or you’ll end up somewhere else.
