I have probably journaled on this inspirational quote before as it seems very familiar.  But I’m in a different place so doing it again can be a good thing.

However, I still believe gratitude is one of the best virtues or principles you can incorporate into your life.  I make sure when some wonderful serendipitous event comes into my life that I thank the universe.  Just a simple, “Thank you,” three times.  Don’t ask me why three.  It’s just what I do.  I do love the prime numbers so.

As for gratitude being the parent of all other virtues, I’m not sure.  I think that perhaps love or peace may be the parent of all other virtues.  But gratitude sure puts you in a good frame of mind for all the others.

And that frame of mind can make your whole day go better.  Being grateful can help you realize how much you have and how good your life is.  Just work on counting your blessings a little every day.  It’s a great way to start a day and a great way to end a day, too.
