Wow!  Talk about laying it on the line.  There it is.  “I am responsible.”  It is up to me how I respond to whatever happens, be it good or bad.

I can wallow in self-pity, sadness, anger, and loss at the bad stuff.  Or I can get my butt in gear realizing I am still alive and act like I am grateful for this wonderful gift of life, this adventure in time and space.

Whew!  Where’s my whip?  Time to crack it and get moving.  There is too much to experience and so much life to live.

Stop being sad.  Stop being angry.  Do what has to be done to get past the bad stuff knowing that if I live, “this too shall pass.”

My life is a precious gift.  It is an adventure that has been gifted to me.  Let me use it more wisely from here on.  Let me love and laugh and learn.  Let me live as fully as it is in me to live this adventure.
