I had better take this inspirational quote to heart.  My environment is still one of remodeling projects half started and waiting to be done.  It is an environment of clutter as the remodeling projects leave no space to put things in their proper space.  My environment is one of waiting for things to happen before I can do other things to put it right.

And today, it is also an environment that is crowded with additional people and their things always in the worng place and taking up the space where our things should be (family staying with us while they find jobs and a new home).  Guess that means I had better figure out a way to pay for the work to get done as I surely am not completing it.  Better add that to a mind movie.

As for the friends we choose, some people think that you really don’t choose them.  They come about by the environment you are in.   There’s that environment part again.

If you choose to drop out of school and hang around with other people who never finished school, what do you think your chances of going back to school to get a better job are?  If you hang around with criminals and people on welfare (who have no desire to get off it and better their lives), what are the chances that is the way you will end up, too?

However, if you hang out with people who stive to better themselves and their lives, chances are you ae interested in that too.  Chances are you will pursue a path that will lead to a better life for you and your family.
