I truly believe we each have something extraordinary within us. How else is it that so many people do amazing things and come up with such great ideas?

I just heard on the local news about two young girls who came up with the idea of collecting stuffed toys and soccer balls to send to other children in Iraq. Their father is serving in Iraq and they want to do something to help the children he has no doubt told them about. What an amazing idea they came had! And the community has responded far beyond what they had hoped.

I was just watching a news video online the other day about a man who, while searching for a cure for cancer, came up with an alternative energy source. It has a long way to go to be a viable product, including figuring out how to power the radio wave generator, but it may eventually run car engines. That’s just one more idea to come out of the extraordinary within him.

We all have this extraordinary as part of our being. The trick is finding how we tap into it. That could be different for each of us. But I believe it begins with the belief that the extraordinary exists within us. Then we each must begin our own journey to find it.
