I could make a wisecrack today about how there is no sunshine to turn my face to and hasn’t been for four days.  It’s been very overcast and rainy which is unusual here.  But that’s looking at the shadows, isn’t it?

We’re on a roll of inspirational quotes about being positive and happy.  Being happy and being positive is all sunshine.  Light has a way of removing darkness.  In fact, it’s only by getting rid of light that we have darkness.

So, if I always look to the light, a positive, then the light is always shinning.  I think, too, that we could use this sunshine/light and shadows/darkness to mean more than just being positive or not.

We could use it to mean good and evil.  By always turning to the good, to the light, you’ll get more of what you focus on.  There will be less shadows in the world.

For me, I want the light and sunshine.  It’s bright and warm and makes me feel good.  Good is a good way to feel.
