Life is very interesting, if you make mistakes.

This is an interesting quote in that if you are not making mistakes, you aren’t living. And the bigger the mistakes you make, the more living you do.

By this I mean, even if you do the same ol’, same ol’, you are going to make mistakes. You forget where you laid your keys, you trip over a crack in the sidewalk, you new baby son gets you while changing diapers, etc.

That’s just basic day to day living inside your comfort zone and you still make mistakes.

But to really live a larger more exciting life (if you want one), you have to be willing to make bigger mistakes. Mistakes are simply part of the learning process. As Wayne Dyer says, it’s just results.

Sometimes what we learn from mistakes is how to do whatever we are trying to do in a better way. When you learn to play an instrument, learning is nothing more than a series of mistakes teaching you how to do it differently or better.

And sometimes mistakes or repeated failures are telling you this isn’t for you. The trick is figuring out where that fine line exists.

It’s conceivable to look at life as a series of mistakes so we learn. The important thing is to learn the lesson from the mistake and then to let the mistake go.

Dwell on the lesson, not the mistake.
