I think of this inspirational quote as a tip or guidance in how to look at obstacles.  If it is real, it will be something that has a solution.  Perhaps the obstacle cannot be easily overcome, but it can be done.  It will simply take time, money, effort, training or a helping hand.

It’s the obstacles that just seem to keep raising more obstacles that should be a clue.  No matter what you think or do, that obstacle keeps rearing its ugly head.  That is a sign that it is an invented one (or that you simply haven’t broken down a real one enough).

And if it is invented, that is a clue something within us has no faith in the goal or in us.  We are, perhaps even without realizing it, raising obstacles because we do not really want to achieve what we have to go through this obstacle to achieve.

That is the time we will need to step back to determine if the goal is really a worthwhile goal to us.  I would offer that if there is this much resistance, then perhaps the goal is not worthwhile to us.  We must either change the goal or change our attitudes.
