When you’re ‘happy for no reason’, you bring happiness to your everyday experiences rather than try to extract happiness from them. It’s not that your life always looks perfect - it’s that however it looks, you’ll still be happy.

I can sure see the logic in this quote and it is inspirational that such a way of being will bring happiness to the everyday things.
I remember working with a woman who seemed to be happy all the time. I was amazed by her attitude even when I couldn’t understand it. I know that it appeared to make everything go easier for her, or at least things didn’t seem to bother her as much.
Today I can understand things a bit better due to the personal development I work at. And I realize I say “work at” as I have such a long way to go. About as close to being ‘happy for no reason’ that I can get most of the time is when I realize and count some of the ways I am so grateful - when I count my blessings.
However, I do have spells of being happy for no reason and they sure do make the day go better. Maybe that’s a sign some of the personal development work I do is helping. In those spells, the little things that go wrong don’t matter as much and I can enjoy the everyday things better. I think if I could incorporate the act of celebrating the joy of now into my day at all times, I would be happy for no reason all the time.
