Everyone who has ever taken a shower has had an idea. It’s the person who gets out of the shower, dries off, and does something about it that makes a difference.

Why is it that so many ideas come while taking a shower? Not really an important question. Just curious.
The point is that wherever a good idea comes to you, it’s the people who take action on that idea who are the ones that “make a difference”. Most of us, and definitely I include myself, get these interesting ideas and notions, sometimes at the weirdest times. But we don’t bother to record them in any manner and we sure don’t take any action on the idea.
(Have you ever bothered to record the ideas you get but then just have a notebook full of ideas you have never acted on? Yesh, me too.)
Apparently, that’s where we lose out. Maybe we are too lazy or maybe we are too busy. Maybe it sounds like too much work or maybe we just have no idea what to do as even the first step.
No doubt you too have had an idea and done nothing about it only to find someone else making a good living or receiving acclaim for that same idea. What’s the difference? Certainly not in the general idea.
The difference is that person took action on the inspiration he or she received. That action has made all the difference in his or her life and the lives of those around them. Taking action on inspiration is the key.
