Part of being a champ is acting like a champ. You have to learn how to win and not run away when you lose. Everyone has bad stretches and real successes. Either way, you have to be careful not to lose your confidence or get too confident.

Hmm, let’s see. Don’t lose your confidence or get too confident. Something will always come up which will necessitate a change in your plans, so don’t get too confident about it always going your way. But you should be confident in your abilities to handle anything that arises or in your ability to learn how to handle what arises.
There are always winners and losers and each of us is both. At times, we win and at times, we lose. No matter what happens, we must act confidently and graciously.
Personally, I think a 15 minute pity party is fine like Zig Ziglar says. But it must be limited and preferably where others can not see you. Whine, sulk, cry, or scream, but only for 15 minutes when you lose. Then go back to basics and work again to achieve your goal. Have confidence in your ability to learn and choose a different way to get your goal. Or use the experience gained in losing to do it that way again but successfully this time.
A champ doesn’t always win, but a champ always acts like a champ. See the last Rocky movie and you’ll know what I mean.
